Winchester - 6 A side Rules
1. The laws of the game of football shall apply with exception to any rules below
2. 8 players may be registered, from which 6 shall be chosen to form a team. One player may be the goal keeper and 2 players may be substituted at any time to provide the referee is notified. Players substituted may go back on.
3. Players sent off take no further part in the tournament. Non compliance with this rule will result in the team being disqualified.
4. Goal keepers can fly kick the ball. Goal kicks taken from the front line of the box.
5. Games will be played on a league basis with points awarded as follows; 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 1 for each goal scored & ½ point per corner awarded. Tied places will be decided by; a) most wins, b) most draws, c) least goals conceded, 2) results of match played between tied teams, e) most corners awarded. In the event of this being a draw then a sudden death penalty shootout will take place.
6. First team named to provide match ball, size 4 up to U15’s and size 5 for U17.
7. All clubs must be affiliated to respective FA.
8. A player may only play for the team she is registered in the tournament.
9. In the event of a colour clash, second named teams will change shirts or use bibs.
10. All matches the duration of each game will be 8 minutes with no half time.
11. Knock out stage duration shall be 8 minutes. If no winner is decided (goals & corners) then 3 minutes extra time will apply. After no result based on goals and corners, then penalties will be taken by participating players. If scores are still even after 3 players then sudden death penalties will apply. The goal keeper is not allowed to be substituted for penalties, except for injury and referee permission.
12. All teams must report to control at least 30 minutes before KO time of the 1st match.
13. Players in each group must be below the age on 31st August 2009.
14. Managers are responsible for ensuring their teams kick off at allotted times or when the referee is ready. Failure to report on time may result in the opposition being awarded a walk over (2-0), or the team being disqualified.
15. The manager of the winning team is responsible for taking the result card to Control immediately after each match. Failure to comply may result in the reversal of result.
16. Managers are responsible for the conduct of spectators/supporters of their teams. Abusive language or threatening behaviour will result in teams being disqualified.
17. Referee decision on the field of play is final. On any other matter the Controller decisions is final.
