21 Sept: Winchester City Flyers v Clarendon Juniors
We kicked off at 11am, the match was close until Clarendon scored just before half time. We weren’t playing to the best of our ability and we let them break through once which allowed them to score. In the second half, we played much better and had the majority of possession. We made several attacks in which we came close to scoring, but it wasn’t until one of Clarendon’s players committed a hand-ball just outside of the penalty area that our first real chance occurred. Katie Dando took the free kick and blasted the ball through the Clarendon wall and into the back of the net. From then on, we picked up our game and made attack after attack finally, Bobby Harris scored a lovely goal to take us into the lead, Which we held to the finish. The final score was 2-1 to Winchester city flyers, but we all know that we could of done much better and we will this Saturday.
