09 Nov: Winchester v Hartley Wintney Falcons (9-0)

Winchester maintained their lead at the top of the u14 premier league with a very good and hard earned victory. Winchester had 2 new players this week and they soon settled into the team. Molly 3, Harry 2, Alex 2, Ellie L 1 and Charlotte on her debut 1 were the scorers. Katie D was girl of the game with a superb display in defence. Maisie was back in goal for the first time this season and did a very good job.

19 Oct: Winchester City v Wey Valley (2-2)

Winchester kept up their unbeaten start to the season with a hard fought draw against the only other unbeaten team in the league, Wey Valley.  The visitors took the lead mid way through the half against the run of play. Winchester equalised just before half time through a goal by Ellie G. The second half started well for Winchester when they took the lead with a goal by Harriet, but Wey Valley fought back and scored with 10 minutes to go. Both teams had a couple of chances towards the end, but a draw was a fair result which both teams happy. The return match should be a cracker!!

12 Oct: Sandhurst v Winchester City (0-15)

Winchester kept up their great start to the season with another very good attacking display. Goals from Molly 6, Harriet 5, Carly 2, Alex and Emma, as Winchester ran Sandhurst ragged 15-0.  The Winchester defence was rarely tested but when they were Georgia and Emma were very solid.

07 Oct: Winchester City v Headley Girls (17-0)

Winchester carried on were they left off from the last home game,17-0 voctors. The whole team played superb attacking football in wet and windy conditions. Molly with 7, Alice 3, Harriet 3, Georgia 1, Ellie G 1, and our new girl Alex 2 were the goal scorers, in  a strong team performance which Headley could not cope with.

21 Sept: Winchester City v Frimley Green (20-0)

Winchester continued their good start to the league with a thumping 20 nil victory. Although the result makes it look an easy game, it was more a case of Winchester playing extremely well. Molly (8) Harriet (5) Alice (2) Georgia (2) Carly (2) Ellie L (1) were the scorers, with the whole team from the goal keeper right through played excellent.

14 Sept: California V Winchester City (0-5)

Winchester made their debut in the north hants youth league at under 14, they made a very positive start with a solid 5-0 victory away to California. Molly opened the scoring, Harriet scored a hat trick and Carly scored the other. it was a good all round display by the girls, and the defence was solid and Ellie the goalkeeper saved a harsh penalty.
