Leagues

Winchester & District Girls League

Teams from all age groups play 6 a side football  in the Winchester and District Girls Football league.

Matches played Saturday morning through 20 Septemeber to April. Games are played with 6 players and 3 rolling subs allowed.

  • U10's play two halves of 20 minutes each way
  • U12's play two halves of 25 minutes each way
  • U14's play two halves of 30 minutes each way
  • U16's play two halves of 35 minutes each way

U12/14 league structure for 08/09

Two leagues will be randomly drawn, with U14 teams playing each other just the once. U12 teams will play each other twice. Completion of this league will happen before Christmas, and all games called off due to bad weather will be considered a draw.

At Christmas, teams from the top halves of each league will be pooled. And the same for the lower placed teams. Creating two new leagues, which will be played from Jan to end of April, with home and away fixtures. Please note all results and scores from the pre-Christmas league will not be carried forward into the new leagues.

NB: Player of the match and goals from Sept to Dec will be carried forward.

Home matches played at the Garrison Ground, WInchester - Near Bar End Road.

North East Hampshire Girls League

U14 team play in the North East Hampshire league home matches at Chilcomb Sports Ground on the outskirts of Winchester. Home games are played on a Sunday with kickoff at 10am.

From the North
Leaving the M3 at Junction 9 (Tesco roundabout), take the first exit directing to the A31 and Petersfield. Follow this road to the end and at the roundabout take the first exit on your left. Directly after you get onto this road indicate right and take the first right turn up a steep singletrack road. At the top is the clubhouse.
From the South
Leave the M3 at junction 10 and take the third exit at the roundabout towards the A31. Follow that road and go straight ahead at the following roundabout (exit 2). At the next roundabout take the second exit again towards the A31. Directly after you get on this road indicate right and take the first right turn up a steep singletrack road. At the top is the clubhouse.
